MESSAGE FROM VICE CHANCELLOR

I am immensely pleased that our visionary leader of USTM, Honourable Chancellor Mr Mahbubul Hoque has created a unique sport facility of Horse Riding for the first time in the University system of North East India. The facility has been nestled in the lush green and beautiful hilly region of Meghalaya. Students, staff and faculty members of USTM will be experiencing the thrilling horse riding in this campus surrounded by nature’s beauty. The horses are well trained and super friendly who have come with an experienced trainer from a heritage club of Hyderabad (Telangana state of India). An equestrian expert along with eight horses having their age around two years has become the site of attraction. It is an excellent opportunity and facility for learning horse riding for the students of USTM. I hope that this premier facility created in North East will bring out the potential talent hidden in the youths of North East India. The University will be planning to provide training in two shifts i.e. in morning and evening for the learners of USTM under a well trained equestrian. I convey my best wishes to all those who will be making a productive horse riding sport as value addition to their studies.
